Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Installation and Commissioning

This is a 4-day course.
This course is suitable for technically-minded engineers who wish to learn the art of installing and commissioning split air-conditioning and heat pump systems. The course covers all relevant system theory and also includes practical training and assessment on installation, charging with refrigerant and commissioning of the systems.

Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Maintenance Course

This is a 2-day course.
This course is suitable for technically-minded engineers who wish to learn the art of performing planned maintenance tasks on split air-conditioning and heat pump systems. The course covers all relevant system theory and also includes practical training and assessment on maintenance and  the recording of readings in line with F gas regulations. This course includes basic fault finding techniques.

City and Guilds 7543 Basic Mobile Air-Conditioning (MAC)

Another 2-day course for refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians who work on small, mobile applications such as automotive and aircraft.  This is where the refrigeration system element of the equipment contains less than 3 kg of refrigerant in it.  The City and Guilds 7543-01 level 3 award in Basic Mobile Air-Conditioning (formerly City and Guilds 5101) provides a qualification in both air-conditioning and the handling of refrigerants on this type of equipment.
